We secured and sped up Homelux’s storefront.
We scrubbed Homelux’s website of hidden malware, then migrated both the site and its live product database to a faster, more secure server, ensuring zero data loss across all ecommerce data.
What we did:
Homelux, a subsidiary of Avarna Ventures, is one of Sri Lanka’s leading distributors of premium kitchen appliances and cookware, serving customers through a growing network of retail outlets. With more than a decade of experience, the company partners with globally recognized brands such as KitchenAid, Korkmaz, and Butterfly, while continuing to introduce innovative kitchen solutions and support initiatives that drive progress and innovation across Sri Lanka.

Eradicating malware from an active ecommerce platform carries significant risk. Every step of the cleanup process must preserve live orders, customer records, and inventory data while ensuring that every trace of malicious code is removed. Any mistake could result in lost sales, disrupted operations, or corrupted business-critical data.
We cloned the website into a staging environment and performed layered security scans using tools such as Sucuri and WPScan to identify and isolate malicious code. Following the cleanup process, we verified database integrity, tested critical ecommerce workflows, and replayed sample transactions to ensure everything functioned as expected. We then stress-tested the staging environment under load to validate performance and stability.
Only after completing comprehensive validation did we migrate the sanitized website to the new hosting environment. The transition was executed through a seamless DNS cutover to minimize disruption, while ongoing integrity monitoring and rollback snapshots were implemented to provide an additional layer of protection and recovery.
