We secured and sped up Homelux’s storefront.
We scrubbed Homelux’s site of hidden malware, then migrated it—and its live product database to a faster, secure server, ensuring zero data loss in their ecommerce related data.
What we did:
Homelux, part of Avarna Ventures, is Sri Lanka’s leading distributor of world-class kitchen appliances and cookware brands, serving consumers through an expanding network of outlets. With a decade of growth, the company partners with renowned names like KitchenAid, Korkmaz, and Butterfly—while pioneering smart kitchen solutions and supporting national innovation initiatives.

Eradicating malware from an active ecommerce site carries extra risk: you must preserve live orders, customer records, and inventory data while cleaning every corner of the code. Any misstep could mean lost sales or corrupted data.
We duplicated the site into a staging environment, then ran layered security scans using Sucuri, WPScan to pinpoint threats. Post-cleanup, we validated database integrity, replayed sample transactions, and stress-tested the staging site under load. Only when we were 100% confident did we migrate the sanitized instance live—seamlessly switching DNS records to avoid downtime—and implemented continuous integrity checks and rollback snapshots.
