For Mindful Toys, we built an ecommerce site that lets customers customize magnetic tile packs—mapping each combination to accurate shipping weights and integrated an affiliate program plus direct WhatsApp chat for quick support.
What we did:
MNTL Magnet Labs designs and manufactures magnetic tile systems that inspire open-ended, screen-free play and reinforce STEM learning worldwide. In Sri Lanka, Mindful Toys serves as the exclusive agent—curating and distributing these innovative building sets so local children can explore, create, and learn through hands-on discovery.
Managing custom-curated packs meant tracking variable quantities and calculating weight-based shipping costs on the fly. We also needed to launch an affiliate dashboard so partners could generate links and view their commissions—all without slowing the storefront. They also needed a way for customers to ask questions about products or shipping directly via WhatsApp, without leaving the product page.
We implemented a dynamic product configurator that captures tile selections and computes the package weight and shipping tier before checkout. For the affiliate system, we integrated a lightweight referral plugin, extending its API to match Mindful Toys’s commission rules. Both modules were sandbox-tested under multiple of permutations to ensure accuracy and performance. Finally, we added a “Chat on WhatsApp” call-to-action on every product page, opening a pre-filled message so customers can instantly ask about their custom pack or delivery options.
