Without a clean codebase, malware can hide almost anywhere, within plugin files, theme templates, or obscure database entries. Identifying and removing every malicious snippet while preserving legitimate customizations was like finding needles in a haystack. At the same time, Meubel House wanted a more personal and immediate way for customers to make inquiries, connecting directly from each product page through WhatsApp.
We performed comprehensive security scans using Sucuri and WPScan, identifying suspicious files for manual review. Our developers then compared WordPress core, plugin, and theme files against official repositories, removing only verified threats while preserving legitimate customizations. After hardening the website with enhanced security headers and firewall protections, we migrated the clean environment to a new server, thoroughly testing forms, integrations, and site functionality before launch.
To ensure long-term reliability, we implemented automated backups and monitoring systems capable of detecting anomalies early. We also introduced an “Inquire on WhatsApp” feature on every product page. With a single click, customers can open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message containing the product name and SKU, making it easy to connect directly with Meubel House’s support team for product inquiries.
