For Sri Lanka’s official Kingston distributor, we overhauled BLG Technologies’ website with a fully featured ecommerce platform, a serial code validation system, live Instagram feed integration, and seamless WhatsApp ordering and customer support. We continue to provide ongoing maintenance and support to ensure the platform performs at its best.

BLG Technologies is a pioneer in Sri Lanka’s IT distribution sector and has been an authorized Kingston distributor since 1994, delivering cutting-edge memory and storage solutions. Renowned for its reliable warranty service and deep technical expertise, BLG Technologies helps customers stay ahead of the curve through its close partnership with Kingston and access to the latest innovations.
BLG Technologies’ reputation demands flawless presentation and reliable product authentication. We faced two key challenges: integrating thousands of unique product serial codes for real-time validation without impacting site performance, and embedding Instagram feeds without adding unnecessary weight to the front end. All of this had to be delivered while maintaining the high design standards and professional brand experience that BLG Technologies is known for.
We built the platform on WooCommerce, implementing a dedicated serial code validation service with in-memory caching and optimized database operations to ensure fast, reliable verification, even under heavy traffic. To improve customer engagement, we added an “Order via WhatsApp” feature that automatically pre-populates product details into a WhatsApp message, alongside a floating “Chat on WhatsApp” widget for real-time support.
For the Instagram integration, we used server-side data retrieval and caching, allowing the front end to display pre-generated content without additional performance overhead. The result is a streamlined ecommerce experience that combines instant product authenticity verification, live social proof, and seamless customer communication. Every element was carefully designed and styled to align with BLG Technologies’ brand identity, creating a cohesive and professional user experience.
